Christian Ventura’s cuisine
A real vegan revolution
Since opening Sushi Momo, his very first restaurant, in 2014, chef Ventura has had to move to bigger premises twice so that he could accommodate the growing demand for his fish-free sushi. To help popularize plant-based foods, Christian Ventura has participated in project after project, and in 2020, opened Casa Kaizen, a Japanese Mexican fusion restaurant, and Nopalito, a Mexican sandwich counter, respectively. Be on the lookout as Bvrger, a cozy restaurant serving decadent vegan burgers, will be opening soon in Old Montréal. A pioneer and leader in plant-based cuisine, the Christian Ventura Group, now with four vegan restaurants in its family, continues to innovate and surprise with new culinary concepts.
